Piedmont Pilsner
Piedmont Pilsner is an homage to the classic
European style. Pilsner is a beer designed to be clean and easy drinking. Piedmont is brewed with quality malts and hops imported from Germany and the Czech Republic. Weeks of lagering produces a crisp, dry, & refreshing brew. An all day beer.
Table Rock Pale Ale
Our classic example of an American pale ale. Table Rock is a balancing act between malt and hops. Not too hoppy and not too rich. A mild copper body carries the flavor and aroma of American hops. A staple on the WNC landscape and in the fridge.
Hickory Stick Stout
Hickory Stick Stout is a complex beauty. Rich,
flavorful, and aromatic but not overly heavy. Roasted black and chocolate malts give this beer its dark color and robust flavors of co ffee, and dark chocolate. Pale and crystal malts impart a mild sweetness and caramel flavor to balance the intense roasted malts.
Ruby Lager
This rich amber lager quickly became our flagship brew. Ruby has a deep color and nutty flavor imparted by toasted malts atop a bed of choice, 2-row barley. German hops give this beer a mild but spicy bitterness. Ruby is a go-to beer with a mellow body and loads of fl avor.
Hefe-Weizen
Hefe-weizen roughly means “wheat beer with yeast” in the country of its origin, Germany. This style gets its very literal name from the large percentage of wheat used as well as the cloudy appearance created by leaving yeast in the beer. The yeast we use gives the classic banana and clove flavors characteristic to the style.
Death by Hops
A west coast classic brewed in the Southeast. DBH is brewed with over 7.5 grams of hops per pint leaving this IPA with a whopping 108 IBUs. Select west coast hops give this beer a punching oral aroma and a bite of citrus flavor. The bitterness is only tamed by a mildly sweet, copper body. It’s candy for hop heads.

The Olde Hickory Brewery is Hickory’s original local brewery. Just a couple of blocks away, they deliver fresh, high-quality, absolutely delicious craft beer to us.
About OHB:
Great beer is the result of meticulous attention to detail throughout the brewing process. OHB beers begin their life as fresh water that flows from the granite slopes of the Blue Ridge and culminate in small batches less than 800 gallons each.
OHB beers are, and have always been, brewed using only select grains, robust hops and cultured yeast, with no additives or preservatives.
These basic ingredients are added with time, passion and the undying thirst for knowledge to produce a variety of quality brews that we’re sure you’ll enjoy!
